Physician Scheduler | Doctor Roll Call
Your Neighborhood Urgent Care (YNUC) is a professional management company overseeing the operations of 9 urgent cares in Orange and San Diego Counties. All of our Urgent Cares run for 12 hours a day (8 am to 8 pm) and we are looking for that key person to be the glue that holds the schedules together for over 42 providers.

Rarely intimidated, you are bold and confident in your profession and you can meld well within any type of social circle. You are easy going, yet you will put your foot down to get a task completed when necessary. You've been in the medical industry for several years and know the ins and outs of provider Personalities and can be the chameleon to get the job done. You attempt to find any avenue to allow you to say YES before you are forced to say no.
THEN WE NEED YOU!
This is a full time position and the awesome responsibilities are as follows:
Key point of contact for the providers regarding schedules, locations and hourly rates.
Request preferences 30 days in advance and put the schedule together.
Understand which Physicians might need extra support in the way of a PA.
Act as the Provider Relations Diplomat developing solutions out of conflicts.
Re-work the schedule as necessary when there is a call out.
Communicate to clinic administrators and executive management when a conflict exists.
Develop relationship with staffing companies and locums to provide seamless coverage.
We'll need you to have some skills:
Bachelors degree (or demonstrative experience
schooling).
Computer literate.
Recent experience in health care (not cable or restaurant).
Sparkly personality
Shining phone presence (you'll be talking to providers via telephone often).
Recruiting experience to lend a hand in the HR department.
