Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
The Front Office Receptionist will coordinate the daily operations of the front office, ensuring efficient and effective patient check-in and check-out.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Dental or Medical offices and is familiar with ADA coding.
Duties:
Greet and welcome families with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Answer all phone calls and provide accurate information or assistance.
Manage new patient inquiries by retrieving all necessary patient information and verifying insurance details to streamline the onboarding process.
Schedule all new/existing patient appointments and craft a full, productive calendar for the Doctors.
Collect and update insurance information from parents/guardians, ensuring accuracy and completeness for billing and records purposes.
Ensure completion of consent forms and treatment plans by parents/guardians upon arrival for treatment appointments.
Confirm patient appointments via phone call at least one day in advance.
Collect credit card payments and input payments into patient charts.
Check voicemail and online text messaging system every morning.
Maintain the reception and waiting area to ensure cleanliness and organization at ALL times.
We take cleanliness very seriously! Uphold a professional and neat appearance, including appropriate attire (scrubs approved), and personal hygiene to present a welcoming and polished receptionist to visitors and clients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Dental/Medical office is required - Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
