Summary:
Perform piping and assembly of technical product by following work instructions and safety procedures for the department.
RESPONSIBILITY:
1.
Assembly of systems and sub-assemblies.
Includes piping and/or basic electrical.
2.
Follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
3.
Maintain assigned area per the 5S guidelines.
4.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by manager or supervisor.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
Zero leaks on all FAT tests.
Level 3 5S for assigned areas.
Accurate and timely reporting of time and attendance and labor reporting.
Completion of work within assigned labor hours, with timely and accurate reporting of daily labor.
Zero findings during final inspection.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS:
Engineering and Stockroom departments.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong assembly/mechanical Job Description aptitude.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds and must not be allergic to the smell of paint.
On occasion:
Must be able to work overtime; including Saturdays.
Must have good English skills.
Previous assembly experienced preferred.
