MECHANICAL ENGINEER.
Candidate shall possess 7
years' relevant experience in the design of HVAC/Mechanical solutions.
Heating and Cooling Mechanical Systems Engineers focus on creating and maintaining various environmental systems to ensure temperature, humidity, and pressure remain within customer-supplied limits.
You will have the opportunity to apply your engineering expertise on projects such as project planning, conceptual design through construction, drawing development, economic & energy analysis, load calculations, design and layout of equipment, and duct and piping systems.
Must have a history of successfully preparing designs that include new construction, retrofit, and plant design, as well as documenting the process of change and as-built modifications.
Clients include industry leaders and groundbreaking Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and micro-electronic startups.
Essential Job Functions:
Experience in the basis of design and detailed design of HVAC projects including chilled/hot water piping, pumps and Hydronics, process gas piping, DX piping, condensate piping, supply/return ductwork, specialty exhaust ductwork, airflow valves, Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and other mechanical engineering concepts Computer 3D modeling of HVAC systems utilizing the latest AutoCAD and other mechanical design software to develop designs and plans.
Estimating and proposal writing, specification of equipment, and procurement Excellent math skills, including advanced geometry, calculus, and physics.
Creative thinking and innovation Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills Great interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities Effective verbal and written communication Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to complete projects on time and develop and follow schedules with strict deadlines for themselves.
Knowledge of current energy code standards, especially California Title 24 Knowledge of HVAC control design Recommended Skills Manufacturing Processes Prototype (Manufacturing) Creo Elements/Pro (Computer Aided Design Software) Engineering Microsoft Office Manufacturing Engineering Apply to this job.
