is currently looking for an Office Assistant for a small, family-owned business dealing with Educational Public Works Construction projects in Southern California.
We are currently looking for a candidate with 3
years of experience in the Construction industry.
Tasks associated with this position will include:
Assisting with collection and tracking of Labor Compliance/Certified Payroll Reports Assisting with collection and tracking of daily reports/weekly safety meetings from subcontractors Assisting with collection of CWA/PLA/Union project paperwork Collecting and Tracking subcontractor contracts Collecting and Tracking insurance certificates from subcontractors for project startup Assisting with collecting and tracking required closeout paperwork Answering phones and delegating phone traffic Hard copy filing Assisting with daily outgoing shipping/mail needs and collection/delegation of incoming mail Maintain and keep an up-to-date project-specific contact database for all projects The tasks listed above sum up the primary responsibilities that will be assigned to this position.
As far as skills go, the following skills are those that are highly valued for this position:
Tech-savvy - Microsoft Office and Excel Experience with Construction Related PDF Readers and Software - Bluebeam REVU, Procore, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to receive direction and follow instructions Ability to work with small teams RVH Constructors is a construction company that has been involved with school construction projects since 2002.
We have always been a smaller company as far as office personnel goes.
Our current in-office staff includes 6 employees (1 being myself and another who works remote full-time).
Although we are small in size, there is never a shortage of things to do at RVH.
We are looking for a motivated individual to fit in with our current team and high-pace environment.
Our office is located in Tustin, CA and employees will be asked to commute to this location on a daily basis.
Our office hours are 7AM-5PM Monday thru Thursday and 7AM-11AM on Fridays.
Beyond the offered hourly wage $25/Hr, RVH offers the following benefits to full-time employees:
