Veterinary Assistant/Technician Overnight

In this late swing/overnight position the team member will triage new arriving emergencies, assist the Criticalist or Emergency doctor with estimates and some additional paperwork, initiate treatments, converse with clients on the phone and in person, complete discharges in detail with medications and review clients at home instructions.
Candidates will be required to perform technical work, ICU nursing, triaging of new emergencies, assist with procedures in addition to some reception work.
We support growth and learning.
Initial training will be for 4 weeks.
After initial training there is a checklist to guide the team member and additional assessments to keep learning.
4 ten hour shifts with at least one weekend day would be required.
